Graduation Camp
Graduation Camp is a transformative psychoeducation program designed specifically for young adults aged 17 to 19 who are aging out of Feel the Magic programs. This 2.5-day immersive camp offers a safe, supportive space where emerging adults can explore and develop essential life skills, emotional literacy, and self-awareness, all while learning strategies for self-care and personal growth.
The core focus of Graduation Camp is to equip campers with the tools they need to manage their grief while also preparing for the developmental milestones of adulthood. Over the course of the camp, participants will engage in interactive workshops, group discussions, and hands-on activities that promote emotional resilience, build coping mechanisms, and foster a deeper understanding of their grief process.
In addition to grief-focused support, the program also addresses vital life skills, such as communication, decision-making, and goal-setting, ensuring that campers leave with a stronger sense of self and a greater ability to thrive in the face of future challenges.
Throughout the 2.5 days, campers will be supported by a dedicated team of trained volunteers who guide them through these workshops and activities, offering encouragement, guidance, and personal insight. By the end of the camp, participants will have gained new coping strategies, emotional tools, and a sense of empowerment that will help them move forward in their lives with confidence and resilience.
