Let's Talk Suicide Virtual Camp
Let’s Talk Suicide is the first program of its kind in Australia, created specifically for children grieving the loss of a family member to suicide.
The Let’s Talk Suicide Virtual Camp is a one-day camp delivered by experienced facilitators who have lived through the grief of suicide. This virtual camp equips children aged 7 to 17 with mental tools and coping strategies to help them process the complex emotions of guilt, shame, and blame that often accompany suicidal grief.
In addition, the Let’s Talk Suicide Family Day Camp is a one-day, face-to-face event where families who share similar experiences can come together. Participants have the chance to connect, hear from guest speakers and panelists from support organizations, and engage in activities that promote healing and understanding.
For children who have specifically been bereaved by suicide, Camp Magic offers a 2.5-day, in-person camp program. This camp provides a supportive environment where kids can further explore their grief, develop coping skills, and connect with others who have experienced similar loss.
