Simon Swanson

Our Board of Directors brings together a passionate and experienced group of leaders who guide our vision, uphold our values, and ensure we stay true to our mission. With diverse expertise across sectors including business, community services, finance, and not-for-profit governance, our Board provides strategic direction and strong stewardship to help us deliver meaningful impact and sustainable growth.

Simon brings more than 40 years of senior leadership experience in the financial services industry, having run major life insurance businesses across three countries. He is the founder of the ASX-listed ClearView Wealth Limited, where he served as Managing Director for 13 years, and he continues to hold directorships across several companies within the financial services sector.

Passionate about strengthening the development and wellbeing of Australians, Simon has a particular interest in mental health and financial literacy. These values closely align with Feel the Magic’s mission to support grieving children and families.

As Chairman of the Board, Simon provides strategic leadership, guidance, and governance to ensure Feel the Magic continues to grow sustainably, deliver high-quality programs, and expand its reach to help more kids heal after the death of a loved one.
