$38,000 Raised at 2018 Golf Day

On Friday 23rd March 2018, we held our annual Feel the Magic^® Golf Day at the beautiful Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club.

Hosted by special guest MC, Channel Nine’s James Bracey, a total of $38,000 was raised – making the day a great success!

This amount will fund a total of 38 individual grieving children to our 2018 April Camp Magic^® program.

Like last year, the ‘weather gods’ were on our side, providing us with perfect golfing conditions, after a week of torrential rain.

Attendees were lucky enough to witness camp Mum, Danny Kinder, share her inspirational story of heartbreak and hear about her will to keep moving forward for her family and the legacy of her beautiful daughter Billie. You can read Danny’s story by clicking here.

Shane Bailey, our mentor extraordinaire, also shared his moving story on what life was like growing up as a bereaved child and how he gains so much by supporting grieving children as a mentor at Camp Magic^®.
